History and Background
Pest PAC was legally established in 1982 by former FPMA President Norman Goldenberg. Pest PAC operates within the provisions of Florida law which allow people of common interests to join together to support political candidates and their respective political parties. Throughout its history, Pest PAC has supported candidates and their parties in order to positively impact public policy relating to the pest control industry and to promote general awareness among lawmakers as to the significance of the industry to the State and its citizens.
Florida Pest Management Association Interim Chairman, D.R. Sapp Jr. currently serves as the Chairman of Pest PAC. Pest PAC’s Executive Director is Matt Dempsey. Matt has successfully directed several statewide Florida political campaigns for Republicans and Democrats and currently also serves as the Governmental Affairs Director of the Florida Pest Management Association.
