Pest PAC is commited to the implementation of effective grass roots activities among its members in order to positively impact state and local elections as well as important legislative issues in Tallahassee.
Pest PAC will sponsor voter registration drives, voter awareness, and voter turnout in elections throughout Florida. Additionally, Pest PAC will endeavor to assist related industry groups during legislative sessions to insure that legislators are aware of our industry’s positions on issues of critical concern.
Pest PAC’s goal is to promote regional involvement betweeen local pest control operators and their state representatives and Senators. Success in this area is crucial, and would serve as the successfull building blocks for better relationships between industry and lawmakers.
Fundraising
The first Amendment to the U.S. Constitution creates and protects the right to freedom of
expression. Today, that right applies to the ability of a person or legal entity to support or
oppose candidates for public office and political causes. While federal and state law restricts
some political activities from being conducted by charitable organizations, it expressly
provides organizations like Pest PAC the ability to accomplish those goals.
In order to continue to support and oppose candidates
for public office, Pest PAC relies
on the financial support of its members. Fundraising, therefore, is essential to the
fulfillment of Pest PAC’s overall goals. All levels of financial support are encouraged, and will be greatly appreciated.
